Workflow value calculator

Put numbers around
the bottleneck.

Use your own assumptions to estimate recoverable capacity, potentially realized value and project payback. This is a planning model, not a savings promise.

Your workflow assumptions

Realization is the share of recovered capacity you expect to put to economic use. Freeing staff time does not automatically reduce payroll or produce cash savings.

Your modeled opportunity

60hours / month of potential capacity
Potential capacity value / month
$2,400
Assumed realized value / month
$1,200
Net modeled value / month
$900
Modeled payback
16.7 months
First-year net after implementation
−$4,200

Includes your entered ongoing and implementation costs. Excludes tax, financing, change management and unentered costs. Results depend on your assumptions.

The calculation is open.

Recovered hours = tasks × minutes ÷ 60 × time reduction. Capacity value = recovered hours × hourly cost. Realized value applies your realization percentage. Net monthly value subtracts ongoing cost; payback divides implementation cost by positive net monthly value.

A negative first-year result is useful information. Scope a smaller pilot, revisit costs or improve the evidence before committing.
